WEBINAR: Lifestyle Intervention for the Prevention of Cognitive Decline: A Review of the Most Recent Literature

A recent study found that by 2050, an estimated 153 million individuals will have dementia. To give some perspective on just how much of an increase this is, the estimated rate of dementia today is 57 million. From a public health perspective, this sharp increase should be a warning sign to health care workers seeing patients of all ages. How do we, as health practitioners, reduce risk factors in our patients?

Speaker Kristin Kirkpatrick is a registered dietitian with 20 years of experience at the Cleveland Clinic who focuses on lifestyle practices associated with preventing or delaying the onset of dementia and Alzheimer’s (a type of dementia) in her patient practice. During this webinar, she will present the latest research on dietary patterns, weight management, and other lifestyle factors associated with better brain health. She will also cover the questions your patients will most likely ask about this topic.
